Improved Unequal-Clustering and Routing Protocol

Increased network lifetime is a desired property of low-powered and energy-constrained Internet Things (IoT) devices that are deployed in wireless environments. Clustering used as technique multiple solutions to improve overall lifetime. Further variants the clustering process defined optimize results. One such variant equal clustering, where all clusters have same size. However, this approach suffers from issue nodes closer base station (BS) dying out earlier. As an alternative, unequal proposed, close BS smaller size; thus, cluster heads (CHs) consume substantial proportion their energy for being acting data forwarding nodes. In paper, we propose with at center circular area. The size each fixed computed based on node density number increases outwards inwards towards BS. results show considerable performance gain over selected benchmark works.
